All the CAD work was done with Sollidworks - I've posted e-Drawings versions of the assembly and the main parts below. Please note that the base assembly is incomplete - I've only modeled the parts relating to the base.

I am a classically trained Mechanical Engineer who has specialized in designing and building both large and small scale scientific experiments in an R&D environment. I am currently working at Lawrence Berkeley National Lab at the Advanced Light Source, where I design, build and manage experimental systems dealing with X-Rays, femto-second lasers and a plethora of high-tech gizmos.
My Artistic side expresses itself in the form of Kinetic art, both physical and virtual (light and sound giving the impression of motion.) I have displayed pieces at Burning Man as well as at my studio space located at the CaTaCLYsMic MeGaSHEaR RanCh, which also serves as a base for less artistic projects as well.
